Windows of Hope

"The word which God has written on the brow of every man is Hope"    Victor Hugo

What's New in RIT113 Version 5.2

Automated registration – 5.2 features fully automated registration control point positioning in both traditional and RunQueueA IMRT analysis.

Automated matching of images – RunQueueA now features automated matching and sorting of reference and target images along with thumbnails of all images simultaneously.

Improved initial positioning of acquired image points when using template registration.
Extended options for output storage location in RunQueueA scripts to either the reference or target image file path.

New ROI option: ‘trim’ in RunQueueA allows the user to specify a trim dimension from each edge of the images.

Other New and Improved Features of Version 5.2

Improved Vidar scanner interface – (“Vidar Scanner Control Center”) that allows for multiple film scanning, auto-naming, and auto-cropping, auto-flipping, and preview of scanned images. Diagnostics are now included in the “Vidar Scanner Control Center” under the Vidar Info button. This eliminates the need to run a separate application and automatically uploads scanner test results to the RIT FTP site for technical support.

New IMRT analysis plot called Proportion Passing Plot – plots the proportion passing for a range of subtraction tolerances.

Case files can be saved from IMRT analysis toolbars. It is not necessary to use RunQueueA to make a Case file.
Layouts now remember image divider positions

The “ASCII Export” window can now be resized for less scrolling through reports.

Radiation/Light Field Analysis will now take a BB or a pin prick for a center location.

DICOM images from Varian EPIDs (aS500 or aS1000) may contain scaling information to restore dose information. If this feature is enabled (in preferences) the Varian aS Portal Image Interface will detect these parameters and restore the EPID image. An optional scaling factor may also be applied.
